Business Studies

Synopsis:

The purpose of this CBS(Certificate in Business Studies) ) programme is to provide students with the basic knowledge of business environment and build their capabilities to handle the business challenges. Students will learn business etiquette and the process of creating new business opportunities and monitoring their development. Upon completion of this programme, students have an option whether to further their studies at Diploma level or to work in the industry.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the programme, graduates would be able to:

• Apply the art and science of management in managing any business entity or operations successfully.
• Plan, organize, monitor and control business operations effectively and efficiently.
• Motivate, empower and develop human capital to improve productivity.
• Apply scientific and statistical methodologies in solving operational and technical problems to maintain stakeholders confidence and value.
• Develop capabilities on effective decision making in meeting critical business issues.
• Handling with confidence all business challenges such economic, trade and competitive business challenges with effective decision -making skills.

• Working adults with SPM qualification

Entry Requirement:

• At least 1 credit in SPM or GCE “O” Level or other equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysia government
