Diploma in Business Administration

Programme Description
The Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

The purpose of this DBA programme is to educate, create and develop innovative business players, partners and professsionals like executives, managers, entrepreneurs, consultants industry leaders, researchers and business providers etc. The curriculum is designed and structured with right tools, text and aids to meet the contemporary business needs and the competitive business challenges.

Learning Outcomes:
• Apply the synergies of art and sciennce of management in succesfully managing Business Operations and International trade.
• Strategically plan, organize, monitor and control business operations effectively and efficiently.
• Apply relevant theoretical knowledge and practices in motivation, empowerment and modelling human capital to continously improve their knowledge, talent and productivity.
• Systematic application of scientific and statistical methodologies in resolving business operation and technical problems to support stakeholders confidence and the value-chain.
• Handle business risk and changing environmental factors - economic, trade (micro and macroeconomics) and competitive business challenges with effective decision-making skills and knowledge.
• Establish Corporate Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in developing sustainable business - appreciate ethical issues and socio-business discipline.

Examination Grades
Grade A - Distinction 75% and above
Grade B - Credit 55% to 74%
Grade C - Pass 50% to 54
Grade D - Fail 45% to 49%
Grade E - Fail 40% to 44%
Grade F - Fail 39% and under

Entry Requirements
• Pass SPM with minimum 3 credits or other equivalent qualifications as recognized and approved by Malaysian Government.
• Advanced standing: Certificate in Business or other equivalent qualifications and pass SPM with minimum 1 credit.
