Micro Controller  

Programme Description
This course is designed to enhance skills and techniques required to develop software application and micro-controller based systems.  Upon completing the course students would be able to understand the typical architecture of a microcontroller, peripheral, signal interfacing and practical applications and would be able to troubleshoot a microcontroller system.
The topics include

  • Introduction to Microcontrollers
  • 8 bit Microcontroller Architecture
  • Programming the Microcontrollers
  • Peripheral and Interfacing
  • Application and Programming
  • Troubleshooting
    Duration: 1 – 3 months (40 hours)
    Entry Requirement : SPM with 2 credits or its equivalent
    Delivery: Theory & Practical
    Assessment: Coursework - 70%
    Project - 30%
    Award: Certificate of attendance will be awarded by IIC upon successful completion of the programme
